För er som inte visste så är Jedi en religion som faktiskt existerar. Den är inte vidare liten heller, som ett exempel är hela 2% av Storbritanniens befolkning registrerade som Jedis. Enligt deras kyrka har alla en medfödd förmåga att veta vad som är rätt, respektive fel. Det finns en kraft som binder allt i hela universum samman, "ett energifält skapat av allt levande. Det omringar oss, genomborrar oss och binder galaxen samman."
Det är heller inget fiktionellt påhitt, här kommer ett citat som förklarar det lite bättre "The sun existed before it was given a name, and it could be revered as a God, however, when the sun finally had a human name, it could be written about and communicated with others. The Jedi religion is just like the Sun, it existed before a popular movie gave it a name, and now that it has a name, people all over the world can share their experiences of the Jedi religion, here in the Jedi Church."
Jag är väldigt intresserad av den här religionen (jag vill mer kalla den en livsåskådning), och jag kommer göra ett djupare dyk i nåt inlägg i framtiden, och även ta upp motpolen, Sith.
